Streetball fundraiser to help local youth basketball clubs

It treated him to a successful collegiate career at the University of Tennessee and allowed him to enjoy a long career in Iceland as a professional basketball player.
Now Johnson, Kevin Moton and Marty Storey are helping with a multiple youth travel tournament teams. The group has 12 teams in the Tennessee Chosen Few organization with ages ranging from grades 4th-8th.
As a fundraising effort for their upcoming season, TCF will be hosting a Streetball game at Science Hill’s old high school gymnasium on Saturday, May 28.
The contest will feature players that have made a stop on the And-1 Tour.
The game will start at 7 p.m. A youth camp will happen earlier in the day from 10 a.m. to noon at Carver Recreation Center.
