Ridgeview athletes break track and field school records

Ridgeview School Track and Field athletes ran their hearts out at the state meet and managed to place in numerous events and break some school records. 

The state meet, held at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, on May 22, included a slew of Ridgeview Raptors. Team Accomplishments follow:

Rader Gourley placed eleventh in long jump with a distance of 15-0.

Hunter Riddell placed tenth in shot put with a throw of 34-6.

Mikah Guinn placed ninth in high jump with a height of 4-10.

Logan Wheatley was a medalist and placed sixth in discus with a throw of 105-10.

Sarah Honeycutt, Ava Howell, Kerigan Lewis, and Sadie Honeycutt placed fourteenth in the 4×200 Relay with a time of 2:07.

Tanner Davis, Rader Gourley, Lennon Colyer, and Ryan Dodge placed fifteenth in the 4×200 Relay with a time of 1:55.

Kerigan Lewis was a medalist and placed seventh in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 5:58. She broke her own school record.

Ryan Dodge was a medalist and placed eighth in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 5:24. He broke his own school record.

Tanner Davis, Rader Gourley, Lennon Colyer, and Mikah Guinn placed fourteenth in the 4×100 Relay with a time of 53.59.

Sadie Honeycutt was a medalist and placed fifth in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:34. She broke her own school record. 

Mikah Guinn was a medalist and placed eighth in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:24.

Sadie Honeycutt, Kerigan Lewis, Sara Radojcic and Ava Howell were medalists and placed seventh in the 4×400 Relay with a time of 4:51.They also broke the school record.
