Pioneers unable to tame Union Bears

The Pioneers were unable to contain the the running game of the Union Bears as rushed 32 times fir 279 yards and only put the ball in the air seven times in route to a 38-10 win over David Crockett.

The Pioneers on the other hand had a balanced attack, rushing 28 times and throwing 28 times. David Crockett quarterback Cade Larkin went 15-for-28 passing for 187 yards.

The lone touchdown for the Pioneers came from running back T.K. Hill from nine yards out. Hill broke the century mark for the first time this season with 141 yards rushing on 25 carries.

Freshman Issac Stephens connected on a 29-yard field goal. Justin Wade hauled in four receptions for 73 yards, while Cole Ricker had five catches for 62 yards. Hill also had four receptions for 40 yards.

Union started early, gaining a 21-0 lead before halftime. David Crockett will now enter their bye week.
