Musket Bowl wins Titans Game of the Week

UPDATE: The Daniel Boone at David Crockett football game won the Game of the Week competition at 57 percent of votes, beating the second leading game, Shelbyville at Page, by 20 percent.


Daniel Boone and David Crockett High School are up for the Tennessee Titans Game of the Week.

Each week throughout the season, a panel of media members select the top matchups from around the state. These nominations are then eligible to be selected as the Titans High School Game of the Week.

For week nine, the David Crocket and Daniel Boone‘s Musket Bowl is up against three other high school games Tennessee — Shelbyville at Page, Memphis Central at Germantown and Montgomery Bell at Brentwood Academy. The Musket Bowl currently leads the poll with 60 percent.

Fans are encouraged to vote for their preferred matchup throughout the week. The game with the most votes will become the Titans High School Game of the Week, with the winning head coach being named the Titans High School Coach of the Week. Each Coach of the Week will receive a grant from the Tennessee Titans in the amount of $1,000 to benefit their school’s football program. To vote go to
