Lady Trailblazers earn a victory against Lady Rebels

Daniel Boone High Schools Lady Trailblazers began the schools 2010 Basketball Homecoming festivities with a 47-41 win over the visiting Sullivan South High School Lady Rebels.
In the Big Eight Conference contest, the Trailblazers (3-5,7-7) and the Rebels stayed close throughout the game.
But with an eight-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, the Lady Blazers held off a Sullivan South rally to end up with the victory.
Sophomore Jordan Bacon led all the Boone scorers with 13 points, while Courtney Baskett, also a sophomore, added 11 points to Boones total of 47.
Earlier in the week, the Boone Lady Blazers suffered a drubbing at the hands of Tennessee High, losing 64-25. Sophomores Kelly Bailey and Natalie Sheffey led Boone scorers with 7 points each.
In the first quarter, Boone scored 11 points, the only double-digit quarter the team would see.
Tennessee high dominated the rest of the quarters, more than doubling Boones scores in three quarters.
