In boys’ action, the Trailblazers’ took out the White County High School Warrior basketball team in their opening game and then went on to beat Cannon County, 55-52.
The Trailblazers made it to the championship round, fighting hard against a strong Sevier County. Travis Keever, Austin Reppert and Hayden Chandler, received tournament honors and led Daniel Boone with 10 points each.
But in the end, Sevier County proved too tough for the Blazers, with the final score ending at 54-41.
Girls’ Action

A Warriorette turnover gave the ball back to the Lady Blazers, but they missed a lay-up.
The Lady Blazers weren’t done though, hitting a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left.
The Warriorettes got the ball back after a Lady Blazer turnover, but gave it back and the Blazers converted a lay-up to make it a five-point game, 48-43.
