Patrick Hilton

Patrick “Pat” Lloyd Hilton, 66, of Jonesborough, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City.
He was a native of Johnson City, son of the late Lloyd Dyer and Lucille Lawrence Hilton.
Pat was a graduate of ETSU, having a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. He worked in the nursing field for forty years. He was of Protestant faith. Pat served in the U.S. Army Reserves for several years and was honorably discharged as a Captain.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Vinson Hilton, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Lloyd and Anna Marie Hilton, of Knoxville; a sister, Susan Hilton Byerly; a grandson, Max Lloyd Hilton, of Knoxville; several special in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2013 in the South Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Bill Ponder and Rev. Michael Woodward.
A committal service was conducted Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers were: Dean Pearson, Greg Vinson, Timothy Pearson, Andrew Pearson, Mitch Hathaway, Joe Curtis and Ron Torbett.
