James Crouch

James “Jim” Crouch, age 89, Boones Creek community, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at his residence.
Crouch was a native of Washington County and son of the late John P. & Pauline Estes Crouch.
Crouch was a farmer and Sheriff of Washington County, Tennessee, from 1960-1966.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Barry Crouch, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Larry A. & Brenda Crouch, Gray; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Crouch McCreadie & Eddie McCreadie, Gray; sister, Dorothy Crouch Cox, Kingsport; grandson, Jason Crouch and wife, Moya, Louisville, TN; great-granddaughter, Julia Crouch, Louisville; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the cemetery at Boones Creek Baptist Church with Minister David Clark officiating. Pallbearers will be members of Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
