State Rep. Rebecca Alexander, R-Jonesborough, has been elected by her peers to serve as House Republican Caucus Treasurer for the upcoming 113th Tennessee General Assembly.

“I am truly honored and humbled by the trust my colleagues have placed in me to serve as caucus treasurer,” Alexander said. “Tennessee continues to thrive under conservative leadership, and I look forward to working with them to ensure that continues.”

In her role as treasurer, Alexander will receive and safeguard all caucus funds and ensure all reports to the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance (TREF) are correct and completed on time.

“Rebecca Alexander is a tremendous addition to the House leadership team in her new position as treasurer,” said House Speaker Cameron Sexton, R-Crossville. “I greatly respect and appreciate her service to her community and our state. Rebecca’s unique ex- perience and dedication to our caucus, the General Assembly, and Tennessee will benefit all of us.”

Alexander will be responsible for producing quarterly funding reports for members, keeping records of receipts and expenditures, and provide members with copies of all public disclosure reports filed with TREF. The 113th Tennessee General Assembly will convene on Jan. 10, 2023.
