Join Historic Interpreter Thomas inside the Long-Hunter camp for a hands-on fire-starting demonstration using flint and steel on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. at David Crockett Birthplace State Park, Limestone.
Can you and your valentine successfully create and nurture a fire? After the demonstration, couples will be supplied with marshmallows to roast over their fires as the sun sets! Each participant will also be going home with their very own flint and steel kit, as well as the knowledge on how to use it safely and effectively.
