Storytelling festival to be featured on Sirius XM during Thanksgiving

From STAFF REPORTS
Portions of last month’s National Storytelling Festival are scheduled to air this Thanksgiving on Sirius XM satellite radio.
The program, called Storytelling Radio, can be heard on Sirus channel 117 and XM channel 163. Storytelling Radio will run for the entire Thanksgiving holiday, beginning at midnight.
The 2010 festival took place the first weekend of October and was originally featured on Sirius XM’s satellite radio network that same month.
“We are thrilled that Sirius XM has chosen to re-broadcast Storytelling Radio,” said Jimmy Neil Smith, president and founder of the International Storytelling Center. “The stories will provide quality entertainment… on Thanksgiving Day. It will also give listeners a chance to hear those stories they may have missed while attending the festival.”
Sirius XM offers a free 30-day trial of their internet radio for those who are not already subscribers. To register for the free trial, visit www.sirius.com/30dayfreepass.
