Ridgeview students honor frontline workers

From STAFF REPORTS

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is not lost on Ridgeview Elementary School students.

Students at Ridgeview have come together to create an Honor Quilt to document this historic time in our world.

The quilt was also created  to honor frontline workers and those who lost their lives during the pandemic.

The project was a collaborative effort between art and library classes and, according to the school, “has given students an opportunity to express emotions and thoughts regarding this challenging and unprecedented time.

Ridgeview Elementary is located at 252 Sam Jenkins Road in Gray. The school’s vision of the school is to provide a safe environment where students can develop their maximum academic, social, and emotional growth in preparation for becoming productive global citizens and lifelong learners.
