Local author writes fourth book in ‘Cutie Pie’ series

Fall Branch resident and author Lisa Hall has released the fourth installment of “The Cutie Pie Chronicles.”
“Sand Tarts, Pies and Devils in Disguises” begins with a much deserved girlfriends’ beach trip for Marlene Prescott and her two best friends.
As Marlene, Dorothy and Allison are going to Hilton Head Island for some sun and fun, the drama in their hometown of Coleman, Va., will not take a vacation.
Allison’s husband, Gary, is slipping deeper and deeper into his grief. Charity and Anna both let a couple of sinister men enter their lives. Meanwhile, Monique receives a mysterious tape she prays is not evidence of her checkered past.
The newest installment of Hall’s series takes readers from the mountains of Southwest Virginia to the sandy shores of South Carolina.
Hall lives in Fall Branch with her husband, daughters and their pets.
She will be at Southern Treasures in Gray on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as a part of her book tour.
In addition to “The Cutie Pie Chronicles” series, Hall is the author of numerous short stories. Learn more about her at www.lisahallauthor.com or www.mountaingirlpress.com.
