It’s rhyme time: Ridgeview Students honor age-old tales

From STAFF REPORTS

There’s always time for a rhyme at Ridgeview Elementary.

Ridgeview’s kindergarten students participated in a Nursery Rhyme Parade on Friday, April 9, honoring centuries-old characters such as Old Mother Hubbard to Humpty Dumpty.

The day represented the culmination of a unit of study on nursery rhymes. Students completed a variety of activities related to the topic including nursery rhyme reading and recitation and writing activities. Each student also created his or her own nursery rhyme book.
