CASA in need of volunteers to serve as child advocates

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Northeast Tennessee will provide volunteer advocacy training beginning with orientation on Thursday, June 30, for people interested in speaking up for the best interest of children in the local area.
CASA of Northeast Tennessee currently serves the Juvenile Courts of Washington, Unicoi, and Greene counties, and the Juvenile Court of Johnson City.
CASA volunteers become the voice in court for abused and neglected children. These advocates investigate and make recommendations to the judge as to what is in the best interest of the child
If interested in learning more about CASA or to apply for the training sessions, contact Leslie Dalton, Volunteer Coordinator, at 461-3500, e-mail [email protected] or visit
