The Appalachian Fair’s annual Fairest of the Fair pageant took place Aug. 20. Hannah Everhart, 17, took home the title of Miss Appalachian Fair 2012. She will now move on to compete in the Tennessee Fairest of the Fair pageant in Nashville early next year. In addition to the crown, Everhart also received $200 through the Richard Shadden Scholarship to go toward continuing her education. Also placing in the contest were Abigail Eldridge, 17, first runner-up; Raquel Velasco, 18, second runner-up; Taylor Patterson, 18, third runner-up; and Lauren Malone, 20, fourth runner-up.
