Boone FFA freshmen attend national leadership conference

Students from across Tennessee attended a leadership conference held at FFA Camp Clements in Doyle.
The conference is an activity of the National FFA Organization sponsored by Syngenta, Helena Chemical Co. and CSX Transportation as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
Brittany Gardner, Jade Gehrke, Emily White, Emily Moore, Kara Lewis and Jesse Robbins, all freshman members of the Daniel Boone High School FFA Chapter, attended the conference last month.
The two-day program helps freshman and sophomore FFA members become aware of the four categories of growth while discovering the importance of pursuing lifelong growth.
They attended sessions on discovering how habits affect growth, the differences between personal and professional relationships, as well as identifying a personal mentor or coach.
