From STAFF REPORTS

Johnson City musician Aaron Jackson is featured in the new community play “Life Lines,” set to premier at the McKinney Center on Friday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Jackson shared his story with the StoryTown initiative in Jonesborough earlier in 2019. His unique story was then fashioned into an important through-line in the new community play, the third annual production in Jonesborough.

Featured in the play are his adventures growing up in Quitman, Texas, and then finding his way to this region through the Bluegrass Program at ETSU.

The play also recounts his struggles and triumphs. The play Life Lines, based on stories from real people from across the region, will run Feb. 28, 29, March 1, and March 6, 7, 8. Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 Student/Senior. Special group rates of $9 available for groups of 8 or more. Purchase your tickets at www.jonesborough.com/lifelines or call (423) 753-1010.
