Bring the little ones for a magical experience at the Chuckey Depot Museum this holiday season. On Saturday, Dec. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. Santa Claus will be at the red caboose in front of the Chuckey Depot Museum greeting all the good little boys and girls and listening to their Christmas wishes.

Watauga Valley Railroad Society will be giving out cookies and hot cocoa in celebration of the holiday season.

Enjoy a walk through the Chuckey Depot Museum to learn more about the history of the railroad and how it shaped our region. Also, explore the Clinchfield Railroad exhibit that is currently on display inside the museum. This event is free and open to the public and there is no admission into the Chuckey Depot Museum.

With all the Christmas events happening on Dec. 14, you’re sure to be in the holiday spirit. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. enjoy Fun with Frosty and Friends, then join Santa for cookies and cocoa at the caboose, and end your day at the Lighted Christmas Parade beginning at 6 p.m. For more information, please visit Chuckey Depot Museum on Facebook or call (423) 753-1010.
