Carlis Morelock -

Carlis Ann Morelock Southerland, 62, of Valentine Circle, Telford, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at her home.

She was disabled and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband: Kyle Gene Southerland, of Jonesborough; daughter: Debbie Richter; son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Taska Morelock, of Knoxville; two granddaughters: Kennedy Faith Morelock and Madison Jade Morelock; grandson: Aiden Bryce Morelock; mother: Mary Valentine Shelton; brother and sister-in-law: Jackie Lee and Melanie Valentine, of Kingsport; sister and brother-in-law: Betty Jo and Jerry Legg, of Telford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Leo Valentine.

The funeral service was held Saturday, June 23, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Interment followed on Sunday at Liberty Cemetery.
