Tim Parlier -

Timothy Lee Parlier, 51, of Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at his home.

He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Tim served in the U.S. Army National Guard as a stinger missile crewman. He worked in the heating and cooling industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Evelyn Parlier; and brother, Rick.

He is survived by his loving companion, JoAnn Parlier; sister, Judy Templeton, of Tampa, FL; four brothers, Ron Townsend, of Bristol, TN, Mike Townsend and wife, Sandra, of Johnson City, Greg Parlier and Billy Parlier, both of El Paso, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Military Rites were conducted on March 30, 2012, at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport, by the American Legion Posts 3/265.
