Air Force Airman Victoria J. Baldwin recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Baldwin is the daughter of Vaughn Baldwin, of Limestone, and Angela Baldwin, of Greeneville. She is a 2009 graduate of Chuckey-Doak High School, Afton.

Baldwin completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Army National Guard Pvt. Dalton E. Hardin graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

A 2011 graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Hardin is the son of Dale Hardin, of Gray, and Kelly Hardin, of Illinois.

During the nine weeks of training, Hardin studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Cody W. Lamountain, son of Tandy R. Wilson, of Jonesborough, completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill., earlier this year.

During the eight-week program, Lamountain completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.

Lamountain is a 2010 graduate of Science Hill High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Ryan M. Lovell, son of Amy L. Lovell, of Jonesborough, earned the title of United States Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, S.C.

Lovell is a 2012 graduate of Daniel Boone High School.

For 13 weeks, Lovell stayed committed during some of the most demanding entry-level military training in order to be transformed from civilian to Marine instilled with pride, discipline and the core values of honor, courage and commitment. Training subjects included close-order drill, marksmanship with an M-16A4 rifle, physical fitness, martial arts, swimming, military history, customs and courtesies.

Marine Corps Pvt. James L.W. Mohler, a 2011 graduate of David Crockett High School, Jonesborough, earned the title of United States Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, S.C.

Moore completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.

Moore is also the brother of Isaac A. Moore, of Limestone. He is a 2011 graduate of Daniel Boone High School.

Army Pvt. Dylan R. Norton has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo., which included basic military training and advanced individual training.

Norton is the son of Charles and Brenda Norton, of Limestone. He is a 2010 graduate of Cedar View Christian School, Kingsport.

During basic military training, Norton received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons qualification, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army doctrine, history, principles and traditions. During AIT, the soldier completed the military police specialist course.

Air Force Airman Eric R. Nulf graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Nulf is the son of Brian Nulf, of Jonesborough.
