Limestone VFD offers free smoke alarm installation

The Limestone Volunteer Fire Department is participating in the State’s Fire Marshal Office’s smoke alarm installation program.

Limestone residents who would like free smoke alarms installed in their homes should call 257-2571 and leave a message.

Someone from the fire department will return your call to set up an appointment for the installation.

A FEMA fire prevention grant was awarded to the state in hopes of lowering the number of fire related deaths in Tennessee.
