Gerhard, Mize to offer free concert Dec. 6 at Northeast State

Guitar legends Ed Gerhard and Bill Mize will perform at the main campus of Northeast State Community College for a free Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

The duo will perform instrumental holiday favorites as well as selected original works.

Gerhard, a multiple Grammy Award winner, has released two critically praised holiday albums. His newest album, “There and Gone,” was recently released.

Mize is also a Grammy Award winning guitarist and renowned instrumentalist.

He has released albums “Sugarlands,” “Tender Explorations,” “Coastin,’” and “Joyful Noise.” His latest release is called, “The Angel’s Share.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the concert, which is free and open to the public. For more information call 279-7669.
