TACA artists at Visitors Center

The Tennessee Association of Craft Artists will again have crafts for sale during the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough. The group of artists has had local crafts at the Visitors Center for more than a dozen years. Eight TACA members will be on hand with items including fiber, jewelry and woodworking.

Fiber artists include Darla Beverage and her shawls, vests and handwoven scarves; Janet Odendahl and the Triple T Workshop with quilted patchwork and oriental jackets as well as tote bags and velvet scarves; and Bonnie Boochard’s Busy Bee Studio with hand knitted shrugs, shawls, scarves and vests. Jewelry artists include Lynn Perry’s Corona Art Glass with dichroic glass earrings, pendants, bracelets and bookmarks; and Ken Yearwood with wire wrapped pendants. Woodworking artists include Reneau Dubberley with turned wooden bowls and Christmas ornaments; Richard Dwyer with hollow vessels, bowls and platters; and Lee Eldredge with acrylic wood miniature turnings.

Their work will be available at the Visitors Center from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 4-6 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
