Extension Office to host open house

The staff of the University of Tennessee Extension Office in Washington County will hold an open house on Thursday, Sept. 27.

The event will commemorate an Extension Mural recently completed in memory of Katherine Ward Long, former county director and Family & Consumer Science Agent.

The public is invited to come to the open house where the artist as well as members of Long’s family will be in attendance.

The open house will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at UT Extension Office located at 206 W. Main St.
