Tourism lecture to take place Aug. 14

The second in a series of tourism talks is set to take place Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 5:30 p.m.

Part Two of the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) tourism lecture series will take place at the International Storytelling Center.

Kirk Roberts, of Kirk Roberts Design, will start off the lecture discussing content.

The webmaster will discuss what content is and how to send the right message anywhere from the Internet to business meetings.

Dr. Andrew Herrmann, assistant professor of communications at East Tennessee State University, will address communications.

Learn what Herrmann has to say about how to talk to each other and really say what we’re thinking in a way that leads to solutions.
