Storytellers guild to bring Grimm fairy tales to life July 14

Inspired by the German Romantic Movement, the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild will celebrate 200 years of tales during Grimm Fairy Tales night at Rocky Mount Historic Site on Saturday, July 14, at 7 p.m.

A movement in the arts that is favored on folk tales by turning attention to the revival of the past, the Grimm brothers were one of the most noted folklore romantic historians.

The Jonesborough Storytellers Guild will bring the infamous true household tales to life. Admission is $5. The performances are not recommended for children under age 12.
