Animal shelter to hold event June 11

The Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter and Ziggy’s Second Chance Network will hold an adoption event on Monday, June 11, from 5-7 p.m. at the animal shelter.

The event will feature educational booths, food and live music. A rabies clinic will be provided by Pinecrest Vet Clinic.

The adoption event will be held in conjunction with the Just One Day movement, where animal shelters across the country have taken a pledge to refrain from euthanizing any animals on that date.
